We spoke with a family from Bentonville who decided to take a concerted effort to stay safe and prepared ahead of severe storms. After moving from Pittsburgh, Eric Petor said they started experiencing several bouts of severe weather across Northwest Arkansas.

Construction in downtown Fayetteville is having an impact on one local sports bar, with not as much foot traffic coming by the bar. Grubb's Bar and Grill is near the parking lot near the Walton Arts Center that has been closed due to construction. "We don't have that parking lot anymore," Jason Collins with Grubb's said.
