NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 13-year-old boy was slashed across the face at a Brooklyn middle school on Friday morning, police said. The boy was slashed by another student outside Parkside Preparatory Academy/M.S. 2 on Parkside Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, according to sources. The two students got into an argument on a bus, leading to the slashing outside the school around 7:45 a.m. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A subway rider was injured in an unprovoked slashing at the Times Square–42nd Street station early Monday, police said. The victim was on the northbound platform for the 1 line around 2:30 a.m. when someone slashed his right hand with a knife. The attack was completely unprovoked, police said. A suspect was taken into custody without incident, according to cops. A multi-tool pocketknife was recovered at the scene.

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man struck and injured an NYPD officer in Upper Manhattan Sunday night as he fled from cops who caught him urinating in public, police and sources said. The officer suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized in stable condition after the 9 p.m. hit-and-run in Inwood, according to law enforcement sources. Officers saw the man urinating on Vermilyea Avenue, near West 204th Street, and chased after him, police said.
