Carnegie Hall celebrated the start of its 2024–2025 season with an Opening Night Gala concert on Tuesday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. featuring the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. Acclaimed pianist and Perspectives artist for this season Lang Lang, performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 on a program that also included Ginastera’s complete ballet music to Estancia featuring baritone Gustavo Castillo.

Aidan Rizvi, the Founder of Peace Panda, extends universal nurturing to children forced to experience reality altered by adults who have lost their minds using money raised in a pursuit of creativity. View a video of the pandas on Instagram!Rizvi built and auctioned off giant 3D origami panda bears that each took him more than 9 hours to make with nearly 600 notecards and 1,200 folds. The event raised more than $14,000.
