A student at Woodville K-8 school was arrested and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer during an altercation at the school May 7, according to a press release from the Leon County Sheriff's Office. Two 8th-graders were fighting when the school's resource deputy was informed. One student was held back by a staff member after the fight was broken up, but the student broke free and attempted to re-engage.
