On Monday, I was gutted to see the Mountain Valley Mall Cinema 7 in North Conway had announced on Facebook that it would be closing its doors as of Oct. 20. The idea of the valley without a movie theater simply doesn’t make sense. CONWAY — Director Dennis O’Neil and Arts in Motion Theater Co. are reteaming for “Rumors,” their second Neil Simon production together, following last year’s successful “The Sunshine Boys.” The production, which opened Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Majestic Theatre in Conway with performances Thursday through Sunday for the next two weeks, is riotously funny.
