The Board of Supervisors took a last look at the proposed fiscal 2026 budget last week before the public hearing on June 10. The board can vote on a budget no sooner than June 24.     FRONT ROYAL -- Warren County School Board members may need to settle for less money from the Board of Supervisors next year than they want. But at least two School Board members say they should push for more local funding even if they don’t get it.     A West Virginia woman received suspended jail time recently for her involvement in a fatal tractor-trailer crash along Interstate 66 in Warren County in October. On May 20, a judge found Dawn Michelle Mongold guilty in Warren County General District Court of reckless driving and sentenced her to 12 months in jail. The judge suspended the sentence in its entirety. The judge imposed one year of unsupervised probation and ordered her to pay court costs.
