The 7th annual Christmas at Collins House and Light Up Parade brought a weekend of fun to Collinsville, including food and drink and a tree lighting ceremony. COLLINSVILLE, Ill. — The Light-Up Parade brightened the streets of Collinsville Saturday night in Madison County. It was part of the 7th annual Christmas at Collins House, where festive events took over Uptown Collinsville and the historical Collins House.

Kevon is the 555th child to be featured on 'A Place to Call Home,' who was either adopted or matched for possible adoption. Three numbers added up in St. Louis County Family Court for a very special occasion for the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition. Those numbers are 1, 24, and 555. One child, named Kevon, was adopted by Keith and Michelle Johnson through the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition.

Kurt Warner tells 5 On Your Side the organization he and Brenda formed has collected and distributed 300,000 coats to cold kids in need over nearly 25 years. You should see all the coats they collected – too many to count, so far. That’s what officials with Kurt and Brenda Warners' Warmup say. But it is safe to say thousands of people will be warmer thanks to this effort. Operation Food Search has partnered to be their distribution center. Volunteers sorted the coats on Nov. 7.

Tackle Hunger totals are in for Operation Food Search sponsored by Neighbors Credit UnionSt. Dominic’s Catholic High School had to call Operation Food Search to ask for more barrels, twice, and one more time, to request pallets!ST. LOUIS — At the beginning of each week, Operation Food Search delivered 15 empty barrels to the two schools competing against each other. St. Dominic Catholic High School in O’Fallon, MO, collected the most food, at nearly 11,000 pounds.
