    MISSOULA, Mt. — The Sentinel Spartans are heading back to the High School Softball State tournament after sweeping Butte high school in a best of three series on Thursday afternoon. Sentinel took the first game 3-2 highlighted by a second inning two run homerun by Nina Sammoury. The second win wouldn't come as easy. Butte would rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game.

    MISSOULA, Mt. — This Memorial Day weekend marks the 92nd annual USA Lacrosse National Tournament, and Montana will be well represented. Three members of the Sentinel Spartans club lacrosse team earned spots on a team that includes top players from Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. "I've been working my whole life to get on teams outside of the state, because the state has been slowly growing, and it's amazing that we've been able to create a national team," Sentinel midfielder Naya McKinney said.

    MISSOULA, Mt. — This weekend, the 42nd annual Ron Hoppie Memorial Trap Shoot Competition is drawing hundreds of trap shooters to Missoula. The event, held at the Missoula Trap and Skeet Club, features competitors ranging in age from 12 to 94, all vying for a share of a $40,000 cash prize.
