    GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Grand Island school superintendent is using his voice to reach a wider audience. “People are listening all over the world. It’s not just Buffalo. It’s not just the N.Y. region,” said Grand Island Central School superintendent Dr. Brian Graham. Dr. Graham launched two podcasts several years ago. Since then, he’s done dozens of episodes that have thousands of downloads. Anyone can listen to what’s discussed at any time. Graham was a disc jockey for 14 years.

    WHEATFIELD, N.Y. — It’s safe to say Terry Reaser of Wheatfield wasn’t ready to say goodbye to her husband of 42 years, Richard. He died suddenly in 2022. “You have to get used to it. You don’t have a choice,” Reaser said. So, you can imagine how special it was when Reaser received a delivery last Valentine’s Day. It was flowers courtesy of Hearts in Bloom Buffalo. “I was very emotional,” Reaser said of Hearts in Bloom Buffalo founder Catherine Szabad.

    TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two brothers from the Town of Tonawanda will be on this weekend’s Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight. 83-year-old Fred Warnick and his 89-year-old brother Don are making the trip together to the nation’s capital. “He’s been my best friend forever,” Fred explained. “It’s not like he’s my brother. He’s just my best friend,” added Don. There isn’t much the brothers haven’t done together.
