BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Kenneth Grant was a monster on the interior of Michigan’s defensive line. He measured in at the NFL Scouting Combine at 6’4″, 331 pounds which is an extra large order of size clogging up the middle of the football field. This draft loaded with talented defensive lineman, but it’s not just his dimensions that standout. “I think I’m more athletic than some of these guys,” Grant said. “Pretty good athletes in this class, but I’m intelligent and I know a lot of football.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Town of Tonawanda has a new puppy on patrol, but she won’t be sniffing out bombs or drugs. Instead, she’ll be used as a therapy dog for officers and the public. The donation came from the nonprofit, Hope Rises. Local treat company, Milk-Bone also offered food for the English Bulldog, and WNY Heroes is training her free of charge. Her name is Lucy, which is a nod to former Town of Tonawanda Police Lt. Christine Milosich, who died at the age of 39 in 2021.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Lathan Ransom plays like he was shot out of a cannon. The safety from Ohio State played in nearly 60 games during his five-year college career in Columbus. 2024 was his best season. Ransom was a third team all-American posting some impressive numbers. The hard-hitting defensive back had 76 tackles, nine tackles for loss with one sack and an interception. His biggest strength is helping stop the run, but he’s also solid against the pass.
