TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Excessive heat returns Tuesday through Thursday as high pressure results in very hot temperatures, 106 to 111 degrees. An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued South Central Pinal County, Southeast Pinal County, Tohono O`odham Nation, Tucson Metro Area, and Western Pima County Tuesday through Thursday. First Alert Action Days have also been issued during that time. Slight cooling Friday into the weekend but temperatures still a few degrees above normal.
Gusty winds and a Red Flag Warning to start the week

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) -A weak trough will bring several degrees of cooling along with gusty afternoon winds this week. A slight chance of dry thunderstorms later this afternoon, otherwise dry conditions through the week with typical late May temperatures in the 90s for most locations. A Red Flag Warning will go into effect at 11:00 a.m. and expire at 8:00 p.m. including much of Cochise, Graham and Greenlee counties. Today: Increasing clouds, with a high near 96.

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Warm, dry, and breezy conditions continue into the weekend. The windiest day will be today, especially east of Tucson where locally windy conditions are expected. High temperatures will be near normal for much of this week, then several degrees above normal this weekend. Today: Sunny, with a high near 90. South wind 6 to 11 mph becoming west 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Tonight: Clear, with a low around 56. West wind 6 to 16 mph becoming south southeast after midnight.
