The First Four games of the NCAA Tournament hosted in Dayton bring thousands of people into our area. However, the increase in visitors brings an increase in human trafficking. “You’ve got a lot of people coming to town, you’ve got a lot more traffic in hotels and when that happens, so does human trafficking,” Ella Westgerdes, committee member for The SOAP Project, said.
