June 18, 2025 — DAYTON -- A 12-year-old girl from Dayton has been named 2025's National Champion by Children's Miracle Network hospitals and is representing Dayton Children's. Meet Avery Abshear and her mom Rachel and brother Jack. They, along with Abby Adams fromm Dayton Children's Hospital joined us live on your day. Avery's story is one of inspiration and relisence. She was born prematurely and has down syndrome.

June 18, 2025 — MONTGOMERY COUNTY -- New developments in the criminal case against Montgomery County Clerk of Courts Mike Foley. On Monday, Foley pleaded "no contest" in court, but on Tuesday withdrew that plea, accoridng to Montgomery County court records. Foley is charged with two counts of misuse of public resources, including misuse or unethical use of a computer, plus soliciting political contributions from public employees.
