Jackson, 37, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for DUI, reckless driving resulting in death and driving without a license. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says Jackson was speeding on Buffalo Drive when he hit 18-year-old McKenzie Scott.

    LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The suspended Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department sergeant facing charges in multiple criminal cases had his bail increased by $500,000. On Monday morning, Kevin Menon was back in court before the judge he had tried to have removed from his case. Judge Ronald Israel combined two of the three criminal cases in which Menon faces charges and increased his bail to $1 million. Menon's initial arrest came on allegations that he abused his police powers.

    LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Michele Fiore will soon face a public hearing on the status of her suspension from the bench. This comes after President Donald Trump granted Fiore a pardon. She was convicted in October of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud after a federal investigation found she defrauded donors to her political causes and used the money on personal expenses. Fiore was appointed Justice of the Peace in Nye County in December 2022, after an unsuccessful campaign for state treasurer.

    LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — At least five people are hospitalized after a five-car collision near the intersection of East Harmon Avenue and University Center Drive. In a brief statement shared with Channel 13, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department wrote the crash was reported at 2:09 p.m. Five people were taken to Sunrise Hospital, and at least one of them is in critical condition, according to police. "This is an ongoing investigation," police stated. "Please avoid the area due to road closures.

    LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An investigation at an elementary school in west Las Vegas led to the arrest of a Clark County School District employee, CCSD's police department announced on Tuesday. The employee was identified as 31-year-old Alicia Fletcher. Police say she was arrested on Friday and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges related to child abuse and battery.
