A fundraiser has been launched for a six-month-old baby who was diagnosed with leukemia. Ricardo Madigan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on December 23. Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) is an extremely rare type of cancer, with only 50 people being diagnosed in Ireland every year. The condition affects the lymphocyte white blood cells, and means that you may not have enough healthy cells in your blood. This in turn causes issues with fighting infection, carrying oxygen and bleeding.

The National Lottery has issued an urgent warning to EuroMillions players in Dublin to check their tickets as a five-figure is due to run out. According to the Irish Mirror, the €20,949 prize needs to be claimed by Monday, February 3 – a little over two weeks from now. The draw occurred on Tuesday, 5 November, and a player in the Swords area of North Dublin is believed to be in possession of the winning ticket.
