With the April sunshine giving us all Cornetto cravings, a brand new ice cream shop is about to start scooping something so much more wholesome on Kinsale’s Market Street. The Good Dairy Company Ice Cream shop opens this Sunday, April 13th, serving farm to fork ice cream, handmade on a dairy farm in nearby Nohoval using milk and cream from the owners’ pedigree Friesian cows.

Now Grainne Gormley’s scenic café Corkbeg Coffee, perched right on the pier in Whitegate, is gaining national attention, having scooped a major architecture award. The café scooped the Building of the Year – Tourism, Leisure & Hospitality Building and Architecture Award 2025 at last night’s swish ceremony held at the InterContinental Dublin.
