DENVER — A tanker spill is causing traffic headaches northeast of downtown Denver Friday afternoon. According to Denver Police, the spill occurred just after 3 p.m. on Quebec Street near the Interstate 70 and Interstate 270 interchange. The tanker that is leaking was carrying acetone, police said. We don't know how the tanker started leaking, but police said no other vehicles were involved. There were not any injuries.

DENVER — An American Airlines plane caught fire while while taxiing to a gate at Denver International Airport Thursday evening. The flight, AA1006, was scheduled from Colorado Springs to Dallas-Fort Worth. The plane left the Colorado Springs airport at 4:37 p.m. before being diverted to Denver, according to FlightAware.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A person is in custody after the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said at least one deputy was involved in a shooting near a Fort Collins park on Monday. The shooting happened in the 1400 block of East Stuart Street. That is near Edora Park, just south east of East Prospect Road and South Timberline Road. The sheriff's office did not say if anyone was injured in the shooting.

LITTLETON, Colo. — A month-long construction project to reline sewer pipes under Santa Fe Drive in Littleton is starting on Tuesday. Crews will be relining underground sanitary sewer lines to help prevent future problems. It's part of a larger project to replace more than five miles of the main sewer line that connects Littleton neighborhoods to the South Platte Renew treatment plant.
