THORNTON, Colo. — A man was injured in a road rage shooting in Thornton Friday night. The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. near the intersection of East 104th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. Thornton Police said the man and another driver were involved in a "verbal road rage altercation" before the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot at the victim. He was hit in the arm and is expected to survive.

After Deion Sanders insisted at Colorado's pro day that Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders should go 1-2 in the NFL draft, his son remains undrafted after three rounds. THORNTON, Colo. — One person died and several others were injured after a crash in Thornton Wednesday night. The Thornton Police Department said an officer attempted to pull over a driver who was speeding while driving eastbound on 104th Avenue around 5 p.m. Wednesday. That person did not stop and the department said the officer turned off their emergency lights just before the driver they had tried to pull over crashed into multiple other vehicles near the intersection with McKay Road.

DENVER — A tanker spill is causing traffic headaches northeast of downtown Denver Friday afternoon. According to Denver Police, the spill occurred just after 3 p.m. on Quebec Street near the Interstate 70 and Interstate 270 interchange. The tanker that is leaking was carrying acetone, police said. We don't know how the tanker started leaking, but police said no other vehicles were involved. There were not any injuries.

DENVER — An American Airlines plane caught fire while while taxiing to a gate at Denver International Airport Thursday evening. The flight, AA1006, was scheduled from Colorado Springs to Dallas-Fort Worth. The plane left the Colorado Springs airport at 4:37 p.m. before being diverted to Denver, according to FlightAware.
