A brazen thief carjacked a yellow cabbie at knifepoint outside a Chelsea hotel early Monday – before eagle-eyed cops spotted him uptown and eventually busted the joyriding bozo. John Butler, 52, flashed a knife at the 55-year-old driver in front of the Courtyard by Marriott-Chelsea on West 30th Street near Seventh Avenue around 3:10 a.m., police said. Butler, who is believed to be homeless, demanded the driver get out of the cab, according to police, which he did.

A stranger hopped behind the wheel of an SUV a woman left running with her 2-year-old son inside in Brooklyn Friday morning – and the tot was saved within 10 minutes when cops pulled over the joyrider, authorities said. The 32-year-old mom called 911 and told cops she left her Nissan Pathfinder running with the toddler in the backseat as she stepped into a deli on Sutter Avenue near Van Sinderen Avenue in Brownsville, police said.

A finger-sniffing sicko forced a man into a “lewd act” on a Greenwich Village subway train was busted Thursday after cops released disturbing video of the alleged rapist. The portly perv — seen sniffing his fingers on both hands as he lumbers through a subway train — allegedly forced himself on a 27-year straphanger on a northbound 1 train approaching the Christopher Street station around 4:15 a.m. Saturday, cops said.

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest just blocks from a Queens high school campus Wednesday, cops said. The teen was knifed at the corner of Baisley and Guy R. Brewer boulevards in South Jamaica at around 8:10 a.m. and rushed to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, authorities said. A 15-year-old boy was stabbed around 8 a.m. Wednesday, just blocks from the August Martin High School campus in South Jamaica, cops said. Gregory P.
