Many of us are gearing up for fun trips all over the country this summer. Heck, maybe you're planning a weekend excursion overseas. While all of this is fun and exciting, there's always one aspect of the vacation process that's a little hard to swallow. Yes, I'm talking about costs. We have to book hotel rooms, rental cars, pay resort fees, and shell out an arm and a leg for all the entertainment.

I think most of us agree on this; North Dakota dads are incredibly hard to shop for. Our dads seem to have it all. They already have boats, they already have all the fishing gear they could need. They have grills, and tools, and gadgets out the wazoo. This leaves us scratching our heads every Father's Day, wondering what in the world we should get our North Dakota dads as a gift. We want it to be thoughtful, and we want it to be something they actually want.

Summer is here and we love to get outside and have some fun in the sun as much as possible. We want to get out, hit the hiking trails, visit local parks, and see all the things nature has to offer. While you're out and about, you might want to take your dogs with you, so they can enjoy all of the same summer delights. While that is a great idea, there is something you should keep in mind. You might see your dog eating grass and think it's innocent enough.

Times are tough and money is a little tight right now, so it's perfectly acceptable to hold onto some things just in case you need them later, or to save a buck. Here's the thing: even when money isn't tight and all is fine and good in the world, North Dakotans have this silly and somewhat unhealthy habit of holding onto things just a little bit too long.

Name something that’s better than money. I’ll go first: Sleeping so you don’t have to worry about money.

I'm up 10 pounds… looks like 20. Hi, 👋 I’m short.

Over the counter is still confusing to me.
