    San Antonio Police are asking for your help identifying a suspect involved in a fatal hit and run crash that happened back in May. It happened on May 11 just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of South General McMullen and West Commerce Street. Police say a pedestrian was struck by what appeared to be a dark-colored truck fleeing southbound on General McMullen. The victim, Jesus Montes, died as a result of his injuries.

    SAN ANTONIO — A road repair project off Babcock Road took an unexpected turn Thursday morning, when one man ended up in handcuffs and a San Antonio police officer was taken to the hospital. SAPD officers responded to reports of an incident in the 6500 block of Spring Branch Street. San Antonio police say the trouble started when a tow truck tried to relocate a car off the street so that workers could have full access to the pavement.

    SAN MARCOS, Texas — An evacuation notice has been given to residents of a San Marcos neighborhood in response to a gas leak. Residents in some portions of the Trace neighborhood are being asked to evacuate the neighborhood by foot. They are also being asked to avoid starting vehicles, using open flames, turning on or off electrical devices, or doing any activities that could cause a spark to ignite.

    SAN ANTONIO — Two children were with their mother when a wrong-way driver in a truck crashed into their vehicle, killing the mom, police say. It happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of Harry Wurzbach Road, not far from Eisenhauer Road. Police confim the woman was with her two children when the wrong-way driver crashed into their vehicle. She was taken to University Hospital where she died from her injuries.
