MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch will likely be visible Tuesday morning from the Grand Strand. The launch is set for 5:36 AM from Cape Canaveral, Florida. ROCKET LAUNCH | Upload your pictures and videos here The four-hour launch window opens up at 5:20 AM and is expected to launch at 5:36 AM Tuesday. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch a batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites to low Earth orbit.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Ernesto is the third hurricane of the season so far and is forecast to become a major hurricane by the end of the week. At 11 am, the center of Hurricane Ernesto was located near latitude 25.0 North, longitude 69.2 West. Ernesto is moving toward the north near 14 mph (22 km/h). This general motion is expected to continue today, followed by a slower northeastward or north-northeastward motion on Friday and Saturday.
