    PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - One person was taken to the hospital after their vehicle rolled over on the southbound side of I-77 on Thursday night. The call for the crash came in just before 8 p.m., according to the Wood County 911 Center. The vehicle was traveling southbound on I-77 when it rolled over and came to a stop by mile marker 174. The driver of the vehicle was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center, according to the Wood County 911 Center.

    PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - WTAP will be hosting their first WTAP Cares Food Drive for Kids of this year on Thursday, May 1. This is the second year in a row that WTAP has held this food drive. The goal of the food drive is to help stock the pantries of local schools that provide food packs to children in need after school and over the weekend. Food insecurities are a major issue nationally, but it is also an issue right here in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
