WALKER, W.Va. (WTAP) - A van was left on its side after a single-vehicle crash on Rising Sun Ridge Rd. in Walker Wed. evening. Representatives with the Deerwalk Volunteer Fire Dept. say they first received a call for the crash at 4:15 p.m.They explained that the driver of the van slid into a gravel patch off the side of the road, hit a neighboring tree, and then drove into a tree stump which led to the vehicle tipping onto its side.

SAINT MARYS, W.Va. (WTAP) - Pat Boyles is running unopposed for mayor of Saint Marys in the city’s June election. This is not Boyles’ first foray into local government and public service, as he explains. “I was on two terms of the Council before and I had to drop off because I moved from one section of town to the other, but I’ve always been involved in some type of politics, whether it’s been, you know, getting out the vote or doing things like that,” Boyles said.
