However, it is going to be the last day before we enter a stretch of quiet weather for the rest of the week. Monday is a First Alert Weather Day due to the threat of scattered severe thunderstorms and another chance for localized flooding.

    ELIZABETH, W.Va. (WTAP) - One person suffered a minor burn after a structure fire broke out in Elizabeth Thursday evening. 21 firefighters responded to a call on the 200 block of Hemlock Street in Elizabeth after a structure caught fire around 4 p.m. Thursday. Crews were able to put the fire out, but the house is a total loss. The garage adjacent to the house also has minor damage. According to the Elizabeth Fire Chief, Chief Settle, everyone, including the cats, made it out of the house.

    MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - The Washington County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a Community Crime Watch Meeting Monday, June 9 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the community building next to the fire department on State Route 7.
