Café J’adore, which is located on Chester Street, saw off tough competition to secure a win in the Best Restaurant in Bradford category at the 6th annual British Restaurant Awards (BRA) ceremony, which was held at Crown London Hotel on Wednesday night.

Chef Andrew Sheridan will open the doors to a new restaurant in north Wales next month. Sheridan and his business partners Sam and Emma Morgan of Open Restaurant Group (ORG) will launch Dishes on Prestatyn high street on 2 August. It marks a return to Wales for Sheridan, who was executive chef at Sosban in Llanelli for two years. Dishes will offer small plates and snacks made using top quality ingredients, with diners encouraged to order six plates between two people.

Andrew Sheridan (Image: Submitted) THREE-AA Rosette chef Andrew Sheridan is to open a new ‘small plates’ restaurant in Prestatyn. Andrew will launch Dishes, on the town’s High Street, in July. It will serve small, social plates of food, and a carefully selected drinks list. On Sundays, Dishes will serve roast dinners on sharing platters for the table.
