MINNEAPOLIS — A new narrative is taking root in the story of George Floyd and the former police officer convicted of murdering him. MINNEAPOLIS - Four years ago, Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill presided over one of the most significant trials in modern America. Like the crime itself, the trial was filmed and broadcast. Millions tuned in over six weeks to watch live feed of jury selection, attorney arguments and witness and expert testimony to determine whether Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, should be held liable for the killing of George Floyd. When the guilty verdict arrived, 23 million were watching.

Not sure what you mean, but I met Juliee Oden while door knocking in the areas of Minneapolis where gunfire had increased the most in 2020. Her block saw more than a 200% increase that year in shots. These are the ppl whose povs we try to capture while writing these stories.

@AndrewMannix And Juliee Oden was one of the people with Don and Sondra Samuels to sue the city for more police, part of the Minneapolis is a warzone public relations brigade trying to bring about political outcomes
