The excitement for the Final Four is reaching its peak, merchandise is being sold at the Purdue Bookstore, Businesses are putting up Purdue Flags, and buildings are beaming gold lights to remind the world whose house it is.

The event is in conjunction with the Loving Paws Animal Center, and designed to come together with the local community to raise awareness and money for their cat rescue program. The event held auctions, food and retail vendors, a wagon ride as well as the Easter Bunny and a candy parade. "Seeing the community support means a lot to us.

St. Boniface Church Re-enacts Good Friday

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)-For Good Friday, St. Boniface Church presented "The Living Way of the Cross", which was held on Eighth North Street. Thousands of people attended and watched the play, which depicts the events of Jesus' Crucifixion. The Church began putting this performance 20 years ago and has only grown in popularity since.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Yesterday the Purdue Boilermakers defeated the Utah State Aggies by 39 points in the round of 32. All-American Zach Edey lead the team in scoring with 23 points. He also added 14 rebounds and three blocks -- as the Boilermakers officially punch their ticket to the Sweet 16 for the fifth time in the past seven years. Their performance in Sunday’s game gave fans even more confidence heading forward.

The camp was filled with several guest who spent their time playing games, such as corn hole, and participating in contests. LAFAYETTE, Ind.- Isaiah 117 is building a house to serve as a temporary home to provide emotional as well as physical support for children awaiting foster care placement. The Isaiah 117 House Organizations has been active since March of 2021 and they operate in a case by case basis. The goals of the organization is to reduce trauma for kids who are going into foster care by providing a home for them to stay at.
