An incident at Woodbridge High School in Middlesex County is sparking new security measures. Now, schools in the district are expecting metal detectors sooner than originally planned. Initially, plans for the installation of metal detectors weren't expected until next year. But now, after a loaded gun was found in a student's backpack, the superintendent shared the district won't be waiting. Those metal detectors have been ordered and will be deployed immediately at all three high schools.
