    By Andy Raun/Tribune Work is expected to begin May 5 at two BNSF Railway crossings in downtown Hastings as part of phase 2 the city's ongoing Quiet Crossing project. In a news release, the city of Hastings announced Werner Construction of Hastings would resume work at the Denver Avenue crossing Monday, and that BNSF Railway would start work later in the week on the Lincoln Avenue crossing.
