Morgan comes to Fresno State after spending the last four seasons as the head coach at CSUN. Fresno State Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy released a statement following the hiring of Coach Charlotte Morgan. “Charlotte Morgan is the total package – an elite talent, an elite teacher, and an elite competitor,” Klassy said.

Jackson made history becoming the Bulldogs’ first outdoor track & field National Champion and and first individual champion since 1999 when Melissa Price won the NCAA title in the indoor pole vault.

(KSEE/KGPE)–Fresno native and Clovis West graduate Michael Weaver has been elected to the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame. The former Golden Eagle was a golfer at Cal from 2009-2014. The All-American was the first Cal golfer to play in The Masters. Weaver became Cal’s first-ever NCAA regional champion when he took co-medalist honors at the 2013 NCAA Pullman Regional.

(KSEE/KGPE)–Former Fresno State quarterback and head football coach Jeff Tedford has been elected to the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame. Tedford is Cal’s all-time winningest football coach with 82 wins. Tedford was named the Pac-10 Coach of the Year twice. Jeff Tedford coached the Bulldogs for the 2017-19 seasons and made his return to the helm of the program for his second stint as head coach from Dec 2021-July 2024. Tedford stepped down as head coach in July of 2024 due to health concerns.
