Known as the Official Home Builder of the Jacksonville Jaguars (and as of 2022, also official builder of the PGA Tour) the company has won numerous local honors, including three silver medals and a gold in the 2024 Parade of Homes.

Eight of the top 10 single-family homes that sold for the highest price last year were in Atlantic Beach, nearly all of them along Beach Avenue. Leading the pack was a 1935 historic cottage with eight bedrooms and seven baths that sold last June for $8.13 million.

Just two homes on the list of the area’s most expensive single-family homes were built after the year 2000. The rest spanned a major chunk of the 20th century, with years of completion ranging from 1926 to 1976 — exactly five decades.

May was indeed a merry month when it came to Duval County home sales. Among the 10 priciest homes sold for the month, half were at the Beaches. Indeed the first three had Atlantic Beach addresses, while the fourth was just a short distance down Third Street in Neptune Beach. Atlantic Beach showed up again as the seventh most expensive home sold. The rest were scattered around the Intracoastal West area, with only one home on the list situated inside the I-295 Beltway, a 10-year-old San Marco villa.
