South Mississippi's best joined together on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College diamond for back-to-back All-Star softball games. 20 different schools were well represented among to games with game one consisted of seniors and game two featuring feature stars. Sports Director Ansley Brent spoke with three seniors after their final high school game. They spoke on what it meant to wear these jerseys for the last time.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and what outstanding things the Southern Miss baseball team did this 2025 season. A 47-16 overall record, 246 in conference play, an 18 game winning streak, a new single-season home run record of 106, seven members on the Sun Belt Conference team, the Sun Belt player of the year, the Ferris Trophy winner, and finally hosting yet another NCAA Regional.

Sports Director Ansley Brent was live at Pete Taylor Park, home of the Southern Miss Golden Eagles as they host the 2025 Regional in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She wasn't in just any section of "The Pete," but arguably the best college baseball environment, the Right Field Roost. "The Roost" is where Golden Eagles dreams come true, and away teams are quickly faced with their worst nightmare.
