The Mobile County Commission had been set to consider an application for the 62-acre Emerald Coast Landfill in Irvington during a meeting May 12. However, prior to the agenda being prepared for the hearing, TIGS Holdings LLC, owned by contractor Jeremy Hunt of J Hunt Enterprises, chose to discontinue its efforts, according to a notice by the county.
