    The Arkansas women’s track and field team competed in the NCAA West First Round meet preliminary rounds Thursday, with 13 athletes securing their spots in Saturday’s finals for a chance to qualify for the June 11-14 national meet in Eugene, Ore. Competitors in the long jump, pole vault and the 10,000-meter race had the opportunity to qualify for nationals. The Razorbacks had three athletes advance — Funminiyi Olajide in the long jump, and Paityn Noe and Sydney Thorvaldson in the 10,000-meter race.
