EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We have a typical summer day ahead of us today with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the low 90s. The good news is the humidity does not look too bad today, so I do not think the heat index will be a concern. Tonight will be clear and mild with low temperatures in the low 70s.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - After a hot and sunny Saturday, temperatures will fall back into the mid 60s overnight under clear skies. A warm front will swing through our region Sunday morning, bringing with it a surge of warm, humid air from the south. That will send our temperatures into the mid to upper 90s on Father’s Day, and the humidity will make it feel like about 100 to 102°. Father’s Day will be mostly sunny, but we will see a few clouds in the afternoon and evening.

However, we are under an Air Quality Alert until midnight tonight as our air quality is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups. As the sun sets, our temperatures will fall back out of the 80s and through the 70s this evening, then through the 60s overnight, bottoming out in the upper 50s to low 60s by early Thursday morning under clear skies.
