EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Wednesday is a First Alert Weather Day for dangerous heat as well as a chance of a few strong to severe storms. Tonight will be mostly clear and mild. Temperatures will fall back through the 80s this evening, then through the 70s overnight, bottoming out in the low to mid 70s by early Wednesday morning. Wednesday will be dangerously hot and humid.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - After a hot and sunny Saturday, temperatures will fall back into the mid 60s overnight under clear skies. A warm front will swing through our region Sunday morning, bringing with it a surge of warm, humid air from the south. That will send our temperatures into the mid to upper 90s on Father’s Day, and the humidity will make it feel like about 100 to 102°. Father’s Day will be mostly sunny, but we will see a few clouds in the afternoon and evening.

However, we are under an Air Quality Alert until midnight tonight as our air quality is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups. As the sun sets, our temperatures will fall back out of the 80s and through the 70s this evening, then through the 60s overnight, bottoming out in the upper 50s to low 60s by early Thursday morning under clear skies.

Clouds will roll in later tonight as our temperatures bottom out in the low 60s. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers likely and a few thunderstorms possible.

As the sun goes down, those temperatures will quickly drop back out of the 80s and through the 70s this evening, then through the 60s overnight, bottoming out in the upper 50s to low 60s by early Friday morning. Friday will be another day full of sunshine. It may be just a couple degrees cooler than Thursday with temperatures topping out in the low to mid 80s Friday afternoon.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Severe storms moved through the Tri-State on Sunday, but those have since pushed off to the east, and we will see mostly sunny skies for Memorial Day. Today will be a bit breezy at times with winds from the west-northwest at around 7 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 to 25 mph. Temperatures will climb out of the 60s this morning, breaking into the mid 70s around lunchtime before topping out in the upper 70s to low 80s this afternoon.
