The Lady Bulldogs faced Taylor County in the state softball tournament quarterfinals on Sunday, June 8. Lawrence Co. outhit the Lady Cardinals, 7-6, by the end of the sixth inning, but found themselves trailing by two runs ahead of their final chance of the game.
