PADUCAH — Whether it's eggs or candy, Easter this year was projected to cost more for the average family than the year before. According to the National Retail Federation, an annual survey showed consumers were projected to spend $23.6 Billion for the holiday. In 2024 that total was $22.4 billion. This year's bill on celebrating the Easter bunny encouraged some local organizations to do what they can to support families in need and those who just want to save a buck.
