Thomas Puccini, the interim athletics director for the Eastchester school district, was arrested Friday over allegations that he extorted an underage student into sending him pictures "of a sexual nature," the Westchester DA announced Monday. Beginning in 2021, when the student was 17, Puccini threatened to expose personal information about the student, according to a felony complaint filed by an investigator with the DA's office.

Michael Raimondi, a 10th grader at Somers High School, was fatally wounded after a man shot him, his 8th grade brother and their mother in the family's Baldwin Place home Monday evening, officials said. Harry LeFevre, interim superintendent for the Somers Central School District, announced Raimondi's death in a message to the community Tuesday afternoon, citing information provided to him by law enforcement.
