    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — A staple of Little Rock since the late 80’s has been permanently shut down after a fire destroyed Homer’s East Restaurant off of Roosevelt Road. "My kids work here," said owner Katrina Eibes. "That is the third generation so part of my heart just kind of broke.”It is the end of an era for the family of Homer Connell, who opened the doors of Homer’s East Restaurant in 1986. Eibes said they saw on Facebook that it was on fire.

    PULASKI CO., Ark. (KATV) — A small community on the outskirts of Little Rock city limits has raised concerns with the Pulaski County School District on the condition of their elementary school. In March, students and parents from College Station Elementary went before the PCSSD school board to complain about the condition of their school. "There are damages to the ceiling which causes the classroom to flood when raining," said Monroe Clemons, a student at College Station Elementary.
