The Russellville School District Board of Education voted to hire Luke Lovins in the position during a board meeting Monday. Lovins will begin leading the district July 1.     HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – An Arkansas State Police trooper was injured in a single-car crash Sunday in Garland County. ASP officials said the officer crashed around 5:20 p.m. on Arkansas 7. State troopers said the officer was driving to a three-vehicle crash during heavy rainfall with lights and sirens activated. Special agents said he was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials said he underwent surgery Sunday night and is stable Monday morning.
