A child has died after being found in the water near Erindale Park in Mississauga on Saturday afternoon. Peel police and paramedics received reports of a person in the water at a park near Mississauga Road and Dundas Street around 3:35 p.m. on Saturday, police said in a post on X. Around 4:20 p.m., first responders found the young child who had wandered off and took them to hospital with critical injuries.
