An East Bay hip-hop artist is putting Bay Area culture and music center court for NBA All-Star week. P-Lo's new album "For the Soil" is a project with the Golden State Warriors and Empire, an independent San Francisco record label. The album drops next Wednesday. A Tesla Cybertruck owner is speaking out after their vehicle was vandalized overnight in Redwood City. Tesla cameras captured a man in a hoodie walking on a crosswalk in downtown before glancing at a white Tesla. Then the man takes out a spray can and writes the word "Nazi" on the Cybertruck in front of the white vehicle. "I was shocked," vandalism victim Amanda Lopez-Lara said.

The chief executive of UnitedHealthcare was fatally shot on Wednesday morning outside of the New York Hilton hotel in what police describe to be a "premeditated, preplanned targeted attack."Brian Thompson was caught on surveillance video heading to the United Health Group's investors conference when a gunman appeared in a dark jacket with a gray backpack and fired multiple rounds. Thompson, 50, was walking down the street before the gunman opened fire behind him.

The city recently met with Tesla about the possible plan. Palo Alto councilman Greg Lin Tanaka said he came up with the partnership idea with Tesla about six months ago. “The idea basically is that Tesla has this robotaxi and they need a place to test it,” he said.

Hurricane Helene to hit Florida, Califonria fire crews deployed to help

As the enormous Hurricane Helene swamped parts of Mexico on Wednesday it churned on a path that's forecasted to hit Florida. Many across the Southeast began looking for higher ground, and schools closed as a state of emergency was issued for the region. According to the U.S. National Hurricane Center, Helene's center was about 430 miles (735 kilometers) southwest of Tampa, Florida.
