TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Triple T Truck Stop, a Tucson landmark that has served truckers and travelers since 1954, is now for sale at an asking price of $10 million. Located off I-10 at Craycroft Road, the family-owned truck stop has been a staple of Southern Arizona’s trucking community for decades. According to the listing, the property at 5451 E. Benson Highway includes 11.09 acres. The Tucson Truck Terminal was originally founded by Ira T. Morris on the old Benson Highway.
One person hospitalized in Eastside shooting

According to TPD, officers responded to a home near Rosewood St. and Sahuara Ave. around midnight on Tuesday, May 21. COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN) — Arizona Department of Transportation crews will continue repairs on the damaged U.S. 191 overpass at the I-10 junction starting Thursday, May 9. Drivers who regularly pass through this area should prepare for major delays and closures over the next week. Starting Thursday, May 9, the left eastbound lane and right westbound lane of I-10 near the damaged bridge will be closing during the daytime hours through Thursday, May 16.
TEP refunding $9.5 million to customers in over-collected fees

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Tucson Electric Power says it plans to refund customers $9.5 million dollars in over-collected fees. According to a decision filed by TEP with the Arizona Corporation Commission, the refund period could span 1-month, 2-months, or even 12-months. Under this proposal, TEP would apply credits to residential customers based on usage, measured by kilowatt-hours. Non-residential customers would receive their refund based on a percentage of the bill.

On Saturday, Deputies responded to a private property off Hawkeye Rd. in Elfrida. Upon arrival, deputies learned a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were riding a side-by-side UTV, when they were ejected from the vehicle.

The Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility announced the new regulations on Thursday, April 25. Firefighters experience setback battling Range Fire near Florence

Hot weather over the weekend led to a setback for firefighters battling the Range Fire along State Route 82 near Florence. According to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, the fire broke out on Saturday, near the Arizona National Guard Training Range, before spreading onto state trust lands. As of Sunday, the fire has burned 1,183 acres and is 85% contained. Two single engine air tankers were deployed to help slow the fire's forward progress.
