One hospitalized after crash at UA College of Law

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — One person was taken to the hospital after a crash at the University of Arizona. According to the Tucson Police Department, multiple cars were involved in the crash near the James E. Rogers College of Law on the corner of Mountain Avenue and Speedway Boulevard. TPD said two to three vehicles were involved, closing the southbound lanes of Mountain Avenue. There is no mention of serious injuries, according to TPD, but one person was taken to the hospital. Details are limited.

Police: No ongoing threat to campus from man armed with gun

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The University of Arizona said they were looking for a man with a gun near campus, Wednesday night. According to UAlert, the U of A's alert system, the man was spotted near Tyndall Ave. and University Blvd. wearing a ski mask. In the messages, they said he was part of a group of about six 17-19-year-olds. Just after 10 p.m., UAlert sent another message saying the subjects appear to have left the area and there was not an ongoing threat to UA campus.

COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Cochise County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) is asking for information on a group of people involved in a rest stop robbery. According to CCSO, the robberies happened at the rest stop off I-10 near San Simon last February. Deputies say a driver was drawn in by a group of five to eight people celebrating in the rest stop parking lot. They told him the man in the middle of the crowd was giving away money after winning big at the casino.

Police search for missing Oro Valley teen

Police said 17-year-old Gloria Caraballo-Lawson was last seen around 3 p.m. Monday near North Oracle and Magee Roads. OVPD said she was last seen wearing a beige shirt, light green jogging pants, and a black backpack. Police say Caraballo-Lawson recently died her hair blonde. If you see Caraballo-Lawson, OVPD says call 911.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — A man is in the hospital after a shooting at a Midtown apartment complex, Monday afternoon. The Tucson Police Department says the shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. near East Flower Street and North Richey Boulevard. According to TPD, the victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. At this time, TPD says they are still investigating and no suspects have been arrested.
Crash causes delays on eastbound I-10 near Benson

BENSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Traffic is backed up on eastbound I-10 near Benson because of a crash. While the road is open, the you can expect heavy delays because of a crash blocking the left lane about 10 miles west of Benson, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. In a release, ADOT said the westbound lanes are unaffected. The Arizona Department of Public Safety told KGUN 9 it was caused by a two car crash. They say the severity of the injuries are unknown.

(KGUN) — The Pima County Sheriff's Department is searching for a missing, vulnerable teen. 17-year-old Nathanial "Cody" Martin-Ochoa was last seen on the Southwest side near West Los Reales Road and South Camino De La Tierra. They say he was wearing a black shirt, jeans and gray boots with blue laces. According to PCSD, he is 5'9" with a black buzz cut and brown eyes. If you have any information, PCSD asks you to call 911.
