TEXARKANA, Texas -- The Texas High Tigers showed the ability to bounce back. Things did not go Texas High baseball's way in a 12-2 run-rule loss to District 10-5A foe Mount Pleasant on Friday, but the Tigers made sure things turned in their favor during Saturday's district game against Marshall in Texarkana. Texas High (12-7, 8-4) scored early and used a seven-run fourth inning to blow the game open before picking up an 11-1 run-rule victory over the Mavericks.

TEXARKANA, Texas -- The Texas High Lady Tigers are playoff bound. The Texas High softball team had a couple of winning performances last week, picking up a District 10-5A win in Mount Pleasant on Friday before defeating district foe Marshall at home the following day. Texas High (16-7-1, 8-4) no longer has to worry about advancing to the playoffs.
