Jason Simcakoski was a former veteran that struggled with opioid addiction and ultimately lost his life because of an overdose. Now the Simmy Foundation is doing what they can to get veterans through the tough times. They're hoping this 5K can shine more light on a dark subject. "They now do things more local.

(WAOW) - The search for a missing woman in Lac Du Flambeau continues. 37-year-old Melissa Beson first went missing nearly a month ago and authorities are still searching for leads and answers. "She's my rock," said Winny Beson, mother of Melissa. Melissa went missing around her home in Lac Du Flambeau March 17th during the late afternoon. Walking on a road she frequently walks on between Indian Village Rd near Wayman Ln.That was nearly a month ago as the family's worry grows.

It's a story about a bookstore where characters in the books come to life once the day ends. Two thieves try to steal a precious necklace and it's up to those characters to save the shop. Director, Brenton Kniess says he's thrilled with the progress of the show especially with it's age of range.
