LAKE MILLS - After an over 50-year journey serving in different roles throughout Jefferson County, 86-year-old Bob Delaney is saying goodbye as Wisconsin’s oldest employed officer. Delaney’s journey started in 1959, when he and his family moved to Lake Mills from Madison. At the time, he worked as a welder for Creamery Package Company, spending his free time riding around with his friends — sometimes during their shifts as police officers.
