    The MTA is set to zoom in on drivers who recklessly speed through construction zones on its bridges and tunnels, and make them pay. As part of the recently approved $254 million state budget, Gov. Kathy Hochul and lawmakers agreed to expand an existing construction-zone speed camera program to the MTA’s seven bridges and two tunnels: the Bronx-Whitestone, Cross Bay, Henry Hudson, Marine Parkway, Robert F. Kennedy, Throgs Neck and Verrazzano-Narrows Bridges; and the Hugh L. Carey and Midtown Tunnels.

    Brooklyn detectives are investigating a deadly stabbing on board an MTA bus in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon, police sources said. The horrifying incident occurred just after 2:37 p.m. on May 11 on a J90 shuttle bus temporarily replacing J train service at Crescent Street and Cypress Place in Cypress Hills. According to law enforcement sources, officers from the 75th Precinct found the 41-year-old victim, a passenger on the bus, with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.
