Families enjoyed unlimited free rides thanks to Premier Rental Purchase, Mr. Appliance and the Glass Doctor. Kids enjoyed a bounce house, as well as a petting zoo courtesy of Dusty Trails.

Earlier this week, News 2 reported that game and parks lifted its temporary ban on campfires at all Nebraska state parks and wildlife management, but that’s not quite the case.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - North Platte Public Schools Summer Kids Klub students raced into the Sports Shoppe to find the perfect fit Thursday. Close to 200 students were fitted for new running shoes thanks to several local organizations and generous donors. Students will spend the next seven weeks training for their upcoming 5K in July. The partnership is in its fifth year.
