DEDHAM, Maine (WABI) -Tom Breindel has plenty of canoe racing experience, but this year he’s bringing his grandson, Logan Butilier, along for the ride. “It seems like forever. I believe I counted stickers last night. I think I got like 40 stickers,” said Breindel. “I’m really excited. I haven’t done the full thing yet, so I’m interested to see what the rest of it looks like, and just do it,” said Butilier. Grandpa has enjoyed having his family a part of the racing experience over the years.

It should be smoother with the water so high,” said Logan Butilier, canoe racer.
