Coastal Cruises Poole Crew Rescue Two Paddleboarders in Distress in Swash Channel The crew of Coastal Cruises Poole vessel Fortuna sprang into action on Friday when two paddleboarders got into difficulty in the fast-moving waters of the Swash Channel, just outside Poole Harbour. The incident occurred during the Poole – Swanage Jurassic Coast Cruise when Fortuna’s captain spotted the individuals struggling to stay afloat and clearly in distress.

Dorset Police received a report at 8.11pm on Friday, June 6related to suspected drug related activity involving individuals approaching a vehicle in the area of Wimborne Road in Winton. Officers attended and a vehicle was subsequently stopped in Withermoor Road. Following searches, it was reported that a quantity of suspected illegal drugs were located.
